This privacy policy applies to our website and the Alarmate app (hereby referred to as "Application", “Service”, “Services”, “Alarmate”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This service is intended for use "AS IS". Alarmate is the controller of your personal data.

We may obtain information about you in a variety of ways, including through your use of our Services, when you call, email or otherwise communicate with us (including through social media), or when you participate in events or other promotions.

- Personal Records (e.g., name and surname, email address, and username. Some personal information included in this category may overlap with other categories).

- The Application may collect approximate location information for personalization purposes, but does not collect precise GPS location data.

Please note that when using certain Services, you may choose to input or provide access to certain physical or health-related information about yourself. Such information will be stored locally on your device and accessed only as described in the "Information collected from you" subsection below.

- Username and PIN: This information is used to facilitate access to the app or website and to secure your account.

This information is stored locally on your device and will not be transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties unless explicitly stated at the time you provide it.
- Location Information: When you use our Apps, we and our third-party partners may detect your general location (e.g., city and state).
- Apple Services: Some of our Services offer optional syncing with Apple Services, such as Apple Face Tracking or the Apple Health app, to enhance your experience. We will request your permission before enabling any syncing and clearly explain the benefits. Any synced data will be stored locally on your device and will not be transmitted to us or shared with third parties. All processing of your health data occurs exclusively on your device. We will not store, cache, or transmit any health data to external servers.
- We will never sell your health data to advertising platforms, affiliate networks, data brokers, or information resellers. Additionally, your health data will not be used for advertising, promotions, cross-selling, or similar purposes.
- You can revoke syncing or change permissions for our Services at any time through the Apple Health app or your device settings. You may also manually delete your data from the Apple Health app or from our Services whenever you choose.
Information Collected Automatically (“Automated Information”)
We may collect certain information automatically through the use of cookies and other technologies, which may include:
- Pixel tags (also called clear GIFs or web beacons): Tiny images placed on a webpage or in electronic communications to measure content effectiveness, such as tracking whether you opened an email or visited a page.
- HTML5 storage: Used to store information on your device about your usage of our Services, helping us improve and customize your experience.
These technologies may be deployed by us or by our service providers on our behalf.

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Alarmate app using the standard uninstall process available on your device or through the app store.

- Object, Limit, or Restrict Use: Ask us to stop using all or part of your personal information, or to limit how we use it.

- Data Portability: Request a transferable copy of your personal information to move it to another provider, where applicable.
- Consent Management: Withdraw your consent for processing your personal data at any time, without needing to provide a reason.
For security, we may require verification of your identity before fulfilling any requests.
If you believe we have violated privacy laws or have not addressed your request appropriately, you also have the right to file a complaint with the relevant national data protection authority or other applicable regulatory body in your jurisdiction.
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.
You have the right to access, update, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at alarmate.app@gmail.com. You may also opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each email.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data.
For users in California, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to request disclosure of personal data collected and to opt out of the sale of personal information.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from, or market our Services to, children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA, or as otherwise required by law in your jurisdiction).
The Alarmate app is not intended for use by children under these ages. If we become aware that a child under the applicable age has provided personal information, we will promptly delete it from our servers.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, or for any other reason. Whenever we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy regularly, as continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of any updates. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page.
